To commemorate 40 years in business, WURTH USA Inc. held a tree planting ceremony at its US Headquarters in Ramsey, NJ on Tuesday, June 2nd. In addition to all internal employees, the event was attended by Ramsey Mayor Christopher Botta, WURTH Executive Vice President Robert Stolz, WURTH USA CEO Mike Krause and COO Volker Baer.
As a North American subsidiary of a German company, WURTH USA has 40 years of history as a corporate citizen in the New Jersey/New York area. Founded in 1969 in Monsey, New York with 3 employees, the company has now been in Ramsey for more than 10 years and employs over 450 people across the country. This impressive growth was made possible due to the foresight of Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold Würth, and his vision to expand the Wurth line into the United States with a start up company so many years ago.
According to CEO Mike Krause, the tree planting ceremony was not only a celebration of the past, but it was also symbolic of the future. “Planting this tree here at our Headquarters shows that we have our roots firmly planted in the Ramsey community and that we will continue to grow our company. It also supports our commitment to developing new products that are environmentally responsible”.
