To commemorate 40 years in business, WURTH USA Inc. held a tree planting ceremony at its US Headquarters in Ramsey, NJ on Tuesday, June 2nd. In addition to all internal employees, the event was attended by Ramsey Mayor Christopher Botta, WURTH Executive Vice President Robert Stolz, WURTH USA CEO Mike Krause and COO Volker Baer.
As a North American subsidiary of a German company, WURTH USA has 40 years of history as a corporate citizen in the New Jersey/New York area. Founded in 1969 in Monsey, New York with 3 employees, the company has now been in Ramsey for more than 10 years and employs over 450 people across the country. This impressive growth was made possible due to the foresight of Prof. Dr. h.c. mult. Reinhold Würth, and his vision to expand the Wurth line into the United States with a start up company so many years ago.
According to CEO Mike Krause, the tree planting ceremony was not only a celebration of the past, but it was also symbolic of the future. “Planting this tree here at our Headquarters shows that we have our roots firmly planted in the Ramsey community and that we will continue to grow our company. It also supports our commitment to developing new products that are environmentally responsible”.

Here is where we stand as of right now, they will start checking on the car for mechanical diagnostics on Monday, it will be handled by the Ford Repair group of the school. Victor and I will be working together to obtain whatever is needed to get the car mechanically sound. Tony and Victor will be working closely on what will be needed for body work and interior, I will also be involved in that part by contacting some of our customers that work strictly on interiors and see what I can get them to supply to us (material, labor, etc.). Victor will let us know a more exact completion timetable as soon as we know all that is going to be needed for restoration, he is estimating 2 to 3 month right now, provided that we find all the materials that we need. WURTH USA is proud to be celebrating 40 Years of service in the United States! We know that this achievement would not be possible without the support and trust of our valued customers, so we are celebrating this milestone with YOU! One of the ways that we are commemorating our 40th Year is by going back to the year of our founding - 1969. In partnership with Sheridan Technical school in Florida, we will restore a classic from that year - a '69 Mustang. High quality WURTH products will be used in the repair. From Abrasives to Body Fillers to Nuts & Bolts, WURTH has the products necessary for the repair and restoration! When the restoration is complete, the Mustang will be sold and the proceeds will go back to Sheridan Technical to support their scholarship programs for Automotive Education. The Mustang is en route to Sheridan and the restoration will begin soon. Please be sure to check back often and take a look at the progress! |

Mike Krause, President & CEO of WURTH USA stated: “At WURTH USA, we recognize that there is a critical shortage of quality entry-level technicians in the Collision Repair industry. WURTH has been a partner with this industry in the United States for 40 years and understands the importance of encouraging young people to choose a career in Collision Repair. We are excited for the opportunity to invest in the education and professional training of tomorrow’s technicians”.
Tom Moncilovich, Assistant Director at Sheridan Technical Center, stated: "Our mission at Sheridan Tech is to prepare students for the South Florida workforce. Partnerships like the WURTH/Mustang project provide students with hands-on experience that they are able to take to future employers. We are pleased to have formed this collaboration with WURTH and look forward to creating a really great looking car."
